Eldest of the two Sorensen brothers set a club record number of first grade games with Cronulla. A first grader at age 17 in the Auckland competition, Dane Sorensen made his debut for NZ in the 1975 World Cup and signed with the Sharks after playing against a Combined Sydney team on their NZ tour in 1976.
